FOCUS YOUR SEARCH FOR ARTICLES
Hello again,
I applaud your keen interest in Cross Stitch. But let me ask you; do you ever search the Internet for articles on Cross Stitch? And do you ever get frustrated at not being able to find articles you want, easily?
A yes answer would suggest to me that the way you search is at the root of your problem. For instance, for a search in Google, Yahoo or MSN, most people will simply enter, 'cross stitch articles.' However, after sifting through masses of web sites that their search turns up they are no nearer to finding articles they seek.
Let me try and explain the problem. The search engine recognises the search term - cross stitch articles - as 'cross stitch', 'cross articles', 'stitch articles', 'cross stitch articles' and the reverse of each of these. The result proves that a wild card approach simply draws a search result that offers loads of sites that are of little or no use to the surfer. So! What's the solution? Use a more focused search. And this means it’s time to start adding the qualifiers mentioned in my last article. It works for me, and my guess is that it will work for you with any search term you care to use. To search for cross stitch articles, I will enter "cross stitch + articles". The qualifier + ensures the search is carried out for articles on cross stitch only, and the quotation marks (") ensure that only sites with the words in that exact order “cross stitch + articles” are considered. You may also use the following conjunctions AND, OR and the adverb NOT in capital letters in search terms.
Next time you do a search, try all of the above and see how get on. More than making your search easier it will save you a lot of time. However, on top of all that I have said, to help you to simplify your search, I must also tell you that members of the Cross Stitch Club at ....(end of clip)

Welcome to an island where surfing is a way of life. In Bali, visiting Surfers can experience the joy of waking up to a good Murah (Murah=Bahasa for surf report), t365 days a year.
If you are up as the sun rises, you will catch a glimpse of Balinese, masters of the waves armed with surf boards on their way to the beach.
Balinese are passionate about surfing. They are also quick to dismiss as idle talk, any suggestion that it was not until 1967 that a group of travelling Australian surfers, discovered the island as a viable surfing destination. They will tell you that they have been surfing and have welcomed and taught visitors on their breakers since the 1930’s.
Some of the best surfing spots in the world are on the island’s western coast where international surfers often start or end a surfing expedition.
If you ever wanted to surf but never had the opportunity to learn, your dream can come true in Bali. It has waves that are perfect for every kind of surfer, from the beginner to the barrel enthusiast.
Further, the Bali Learn to Surf School is recognised internationally as a professional setup. Its programmes include surf etiquette and safety.
Even though Islam is the dominant religion throughout Indonesia, the Balinese have preserved their Hindu culture. This is evidenced in their lifestyle, their ceremonies, festivals, temples and palaces.
After a day on the waves, your can choose A Balinese Fire Dance, a quiet night with a moon lit dinner or party at one of dozens of bars, discos and nightclubs.
Best Time of year Bali is tropical. It experiences two seasons, wet and rainy between October and March and dry from April to September. Even during the wet season, rain can be expected to pass quickly.
Although surfing is good all year-round, the best period is between May and August when the island is cooler and showers are scattered. (end of clip)
